Whiteriver Laundry was established in 2007 by Luke Gledhill together with the Directors of our sister company, Afonwen Laundry, one of the UK's leading independent laundry & linen hire companies, which covers Wales, the North West of England and the West Midlands regions.

Luke Gledhill was previously General Manager of Brooks Service Group plc's Leeds production facility having worked all of his career in the laundry industry from production through to as a driver, manager and then General Manager of a laundry processing over 350,000 items of linen a week.

Whiteriver Laundry operates one of the most modern and largest independent production facilities in the UK, with capacity to handle up to 750,000 items of linen a week and supplying over 400 hotels throughout Wales, the North West of England and West Midlands regions.
